If the wiring plug falls apart on you, you won't know what coded wires go where!!!
This has happened to many owners. Maybe more than want to admit it. If you are not careful or you do not know how to properly remove the wiring plug from the back of the ignition switch on 1981 to 1995 models, you can pull it apart the wires will get all "messed up."
