Year: 1970 Model: 220D Product Description: Advice on Injection Pump Dear Kent, I try to view your videos on diesel maintenance to keep my 1970 220D alive and healthy. I seem to recall that one of the service steps you recommended in one of your videos was to make sure to replace the motor oil that is actually used in the diesel injection pump itself. I don't think there's a lot of difference between the 1970 220D injection pump and the injection pumps used in the early 240Ds, but I may be wrong. Can you specify the type of motor oil should I used for the pump itself? It seems to be different than the crankcase oil. Thanks, D. L.
