Came off a 123 with only 120K miles and has been in storage for 20 years in Kent's personal stash. This axle fits right or left side for all applicable W115 and W123 chassis sedans, coupes and wagons from 1974-1985 with the following exceptions: Please look at this picture closely and make sure that it currently matches the style of axles on your 123 if you are considering replacing yours with this unit ( this is the can-style axle).

There is no play in the spider joints. Just look at the condition of the original axle boots. An original axle like this is very hard to find.
