6.3 V/8 Injection Pump De-Gunking and Flow Test Kit Lines and Hoses

For a 6.3 that has not run in years this is the best way to determine if the expensive injection pump is ok

Watch the video below to understand what this kit can do. Kent used it on his 6.3, which had sat outside and had not run in 18 years. The 6.3 injection pump is rare, to say the least, and can be very expensive to overhaul. Treat it with great care!  Ensure it is thoroughly cleaned and lubricated before starting the engine after long storage.

How to Clean and Flow Test Your Old Gas or Diesel Injection Pump - On Demand Video

Product Details

You will get eight special steel pipes with the correct fittings on one end, eight rubber fuel hoses, each 12 inches long, and zip ties to secure the hoses to the pipes. You do not need to use hose clamps as you are not dealing with any back pressure. NEVER USE GASOLINE to clean or test the pump in this manner. Kent prefers 80 percent carb cleaner and 20 percent automatic transmission fluid

Although this is not a 6.3 injection pump, the picture below will show you how the lines are attached.

Along with these lines, you will need a small remote tank and a low-pressure electric pump to feed cleaner/lubricant through your jump.  ( as shown in the video above)
