Two types to be used with Miracle Paint to repair LARGER holes from 1/2" up to 2 inches in diameter.

These two types of fiberglass can bridge over small to medium rust holes and give a lasting repair to what otherwise becomes a very time-consuming and expensive repair. Welding is required in structural areas but not always best in cosmetic areas, as future rust arising from a weld joint can lead to big problems if hidden.

Product Details

The 6 oz. cloth is best used around dips and compound curves as it will "mold" easily when applying Miracle Paint. The included piece is 6" wide by 24 inches long. Plan to apply it in multiple coats if the hole exceeds 1/2 inch in diameter.

The heavy dual-ply mesh must be applied to flat or slightly curved surfaces. It is so thick that for many applications, you may only need one layer. Apply with the rough side down to the damaged area.

This fine fiberglass cloth, along with Miracle Paint, can really do some fine rust repair detailing. There are many uses. You can even repair broken plastic by roughing up the surface on the back side and applying multiple layers of cloth. Plan to be creative!
