Over half the W123's Kent looks at today have their original battery hold down clamps missing. Most just seem to rust away. Kent decided he had to come up with a solution by providing a replacement clamp and nut that would not rust! They fit all 123 chassis sedans, coupes and wagons built from 1976 to 1985 as shown below:

The solution was to take a large stainless steel washer and put a special bend in it so it would hold the bottom of the battery to the tray. Buy adding a stainless steel self locking nut the rust free conversion is complete. Kit contains two special bent clamps and two self locking nuts as shown.
DISCLAIMER: Please note these may not work if you have a non-factory or non standard size battery in your tray. Please look at picture closely above to make sure your battery is the same type and size.
Here is a picture of them installed in a W126 300SE. Fits all W126 chassis from 1981 to 1991.
They will work on other chassis W114, W115 and W116 but may need to be bent slightly to hold the battery tight.
