Special wire and rope are included, along with a simple tool for inserting them into the rubber seal. The special sealant included does not dry hard and is the best to use for these old rubber windshield seals. PLEASE NOTE: A new windshield seal is NOT INCLUDED. These are readily available from many online suppliers.
