Mounts into front end of the aluminum bearing bracket ( see location image below)

This rubber part fits all W126 sedans and SEC coupes from 1980 to 1991. Since these cars are now 25 + years old most of the rubber in the front suspension will need to be changed if you want the Mercedes "ride and feel."  This part and the rear end bracket bushing as well ( see related products below) should be replaced anytime you are working on the front suspension, especially if you are replacing the guide rod mount bushings. See the image below for specific location.  It is # 16

This is only ONE SIDE. You will need to order two of these bushings if you are redoing both sides of your front end. These bushings do not come with specific instructions, but Kent's instructions on replacing the guide rod mount bushings will at least show you how to get the bracket off. If you do not have the tools then you may need to take the bracket and the bushings into a machine shop to have them replaced with a press.
