I have a 300d and the power windows dont work with any of the switches in the councel or the doors. The sunroof works and when you use the key in the door you can operate the windows.Any Ideas would be helpful.

Where is the oil pressure switch located and is there a diagram and replacement instructions available?
When shifting into reverse there is a long delay before it engages and when it does it makes a loud studdering sound. Is a new trans needed or can it be fixed?
Oil pressure is normal when engine is started and warming up. Afterward the pressure reads very low during idle and normal city driving. No tapping is heard which indicates to me that oil is still circulating. What if anything should I do?
I'm looking at an '85 300D with low miles but the emergency brake cable is snapped and there is an ABS warning light that comes on.
I know you have a booklet about the emergency brake system, but is replacement of the cable covered in the manual? How much of a "bear" is it to replace the cable from the cabin to the Y?
Since there is an ABS warning light, how hard is it to replace the wheel sensor AND since there is one sensor for each front wheel on this model (I believe) how do you assure which sensor is failing? Do you carry the sensors in stock?
Thanks,
92' 300d with 2.5 L turbo. Has 230,000 miles and used to have first gear but now starts in second gear. I'm curious if this might be a common problem or a simple fix. Automatic transmission fluid level is correct according to owners manual. Thanks for your help and amazing website.
