Alda Hose connection question
Hello,
I abought a replacement alda hose from you guys at Mercedesource this last summer and when hooking it up I had a question. Where the 2 alda hoses connect- the barrel attached to the firewall with 3 prongs sticking off.
2 prongs on top, one blocked the other runs to the fuel injection appreatus, the other prong on the bottom running to the intake/exhaust manifold apperati...my question is this... Is there a coorect way for these hoses to be conected at this barrel. I just looked at other cars and guessed, it runs fine but its just something that has bugged me.

Can't Find 123 Euro Blower Motor Switch
I cannot find a replacement 6 pin fan (4 position: 0ff and low-med-high)control blower level switch ( I am sure it is Switch # 46 Pages 285-286 of the 75-85 Haynes Diesel 123 Book) which is both mechanical (wire) and electrical. It is placed in the middle of control panel's three switches and I know it has a ribbed black plastic with inner metal housing with a decent weight to it. Besides a Mercedes dealer could anyone tell me where I can possibly obtain one? Right now I am jumping the connector to stay warm. This car has no air cond. Thanks.

Vaccuum Problem - suspect Pump or?
I am purchasing a vaccuum tester and Kent's book becuase I likely have a vacuum problem based on these issues: Automatic Transmission shifts too early(fluid was changed); door locks sometimes work -usually they don't; Left front disk brake kicks in 1/4 -1/2 second after right. Lines appear to be in good shape..as well as vaccuum levers on valve cover- but I am thinking could be a main check valve (or other valve) problem. Not sure whether to do the vaccuum pump rebuild kit yet - until I read the book anyway. Anybody else experience these symptoms?

Fuel system troubleshooting...
Hello,
My 82, 123 300TD is having fuel issues. I get 20 mpg! The engine runs strong, it has 250k on it. I purchaced the car about 6 mo ago... I used the diesel purge system you have with good results, all my filters are clean and new, and yet it still gets 20 mpg. I get a small amount of blow by, but even still I think there is a fuel problem somewhere. Do you suggest replacing the nozzels to start with? I am about to order the injectors and thought I would ask first. Is this a simple job, I saw you had tools for this and was going to order as well.
