I own a 1976 W116 280S that used to run perfectly well but now problem is with its carburetor. Sometimes the float chamber has to be adjusted in order to run the engine and this is happening so frequently that I need a lasting solution to the problem. Otherwise at the rate which am experiencing the problem, I might get stuck right in the middle of nowhere.
My 1979 300SD Turbo has a rebuild transmission, a new kick down switch and still will not downshift. Any suggestions??? Fusebox has been checked, and linkage adjusted.
What is the approximate cost for a valve adjustment on the above model car??
