I have 1989 300se that was running quite fine until recently. I had just gotten off the freeway and came to a stoplight. when I turned the corner and accelerated the car suddenly ceased to speed up and sputtered like it was runnin out of gas. Well with over half a tank of gas I knew it was not the problem. The car died at the next lite and would not restart. Tow truck driver suggested fuel pump. Well I replaced pump, filter , and the thign next to that(accumulator?) Now, car cranks but it seems like I am not getting spark at the plug nor fuel at the injector . The pump is activating as I hear it go on and off when I stop cranking it.Fuel pump relay, computer , coil, any suggestions, or should I just take it in for a diagnostic first, then, try to repair it myself?
