Are My Brake Calipers Rebuildable?

If the pistons won't move you have to get them out and see how bad the rust is inside the caliper. Sometimes it takes some real force to get them out and in 8 out of 10 cases you will find that the rust binding the piston is outside the critical sealing area - other times the rust pitting is on critical surfaces and the caliper cannot simply be resealed.
