Fits the following: All 124 chassis sedans, coupes, and wagons from 1986 to 1993. NOTE: WILL NOT WORK ON MODELS W/ DUST FILTER. We are finding more heater fan motor failures in the 124 chassis cars as they age. Many can be fixed just by replacing the motor brushes, and I have a kit for that repair elsewhere on my website. If your fan motor is making noises, then the bearings may be going bad, and you will need to replace the entire unit. The same is true if you have smelled smoke coming from the heater vents.

This is a very nice aftermarket motor, complete with new fans installed. ACM of Germany manufactures it and has a motor brush design that appears to last longer than the original brushes. I am including my book on repairing the motor, which will give you the instructions you need to remove and replace this unit yourself. Without these instructions, this job can be very frustrating. My book has step-by-step instructions with pictures to aid you in removal and replacement.
