We have been informed that there is no plan to manufacture new steering locks again for these classic cars. This will also fit the European R107 280SL.

If your 380SL or SLC key is stuck or is sticking, this may be your only option for repair! Most of the time, the steering lock is worn out and even if you can find and replace the key tumbler, you will still have problems. This is a new O.E. steering lock with a special tumbler and two keys as shown with a new black security cap installed. Please note that the electrical switch is not included. If you need the electrical switch, it can be ordered separately. Please see the related products below. IMPORTANT NOTE: Each assembly has been properly inspected, lubricated, and tested in our shop to give you a good working complete assembly. We do not sell individual parts.
