If a car has sat outside in the elements for long periods and has not been washed or waxed in months there are some things you need to do BEFORE you apply the buffer to the body and the final wax to the paint. This is where you will need some real "elbow grease."

Kent uses a 1990 190E that has not been deep washed or waxed in over a year to demonstrate some of the problems you may run into. You will learn his techniques to clean all the old moss, mildew and other crud off the car, followed by how to clean the paint in preparation for buffing and wax. If this is done right you can save a lot of time bringing that new car shine back to your Benz.
