Kent takes you through the process of removing and installing the shock absorbers on your own R107. The video specifically shows the work being done on a 380SL. Other models may have slight variations but the basic principles are the same. Problem areas are addressed and his rapid install special tool is shown in action. Rear shocks will require that you remove the side panels behind the front seats to gain access to the top nuts on the rear shocks. The removal of these panels is covered in detail. To save your sanity the special tool is highly recommended. Total run time of this video is 31 minutes.
