SINGLE AXLE KIT: This set of boots will work on ONE (1) axle of the BOLT TYPE. This will not work if you have the crimped can type axles. SEE PICTURE BELOW TO CONFIRM IF YOUR AXLE MATCHES THIS TYPE! If you order the wrong boots by mistake they are not returnable.
These instructions are specific to the axle boot replacement kit we sell but can also be "generic" in application to most models with rubber axle boots. They come as a PDF in a 2-up format.
FITS THE FOLLOWING: 114, 115, 107, 123 and 126 to 1985 chassis Mercedes that use the rear axles with the crimped sealed cans over the flex joints (spider). Mercedes rear axles of the 1970s and 1980s are extremely robust.
We recommend you always replace this seal when removing and replacing your rear axles. You will need two of these if you are working on both axles. Seal fits on either side of the rear differential that uses can style rear axles. They will fit rear ends with ONLY can-style axles.
