FITS THE FOLLOWING: 116,123,126, 5 cylinder turbo diesels with an air filter on the engine, from 1978 to 1985. Fix that rattling air cleaner housing now. Kit includes 3 high quality rubber shock mounts, one large size (easy on the hands) wing nut for air filter cover, and 6 self locking nuts to install the rubber mounts. These attach to the T-shaped bracket this is mounted on the intake manifold of most 5 cylinder turbo diesel engines.

These lock nuts will keep the mounts from loosening up due to vibration. You want to use them on the bottom of the bracket also to keep from elongating the threaded bracket mounting holes. These special nuts really help hold everything together. You have already noticed that big air cleaner really shakes and rattles. These steel cupped heat shields go under the rubber mounts to help deflect heat and grease away. In most cases (unless your engine is severely shaking) they will prolong the life of the rubber mounts.
