Some surface minor rust and pits on one end were sanded and touched up with Miracle Paint (with a couple of small patches of thin fiberglass cloth.

Over half the W123's Kent looks at today have their original battery hold down clamps missing. Most just seem to rust away. Kent decided he had to come up with a solution by providing a replacement clamp and nut that would not rust!
