In my limited experience with WVO I have encountered several kinds and types out there, It seems that it is universal knowledge to stick with what originally was 100% pure oil of some kind and to stay away from the hydrogenated stuff. My question goes further... I like to know what are the better WVOs? and what kind of WVOs to avoid?. Maybe on a "TOP 10" format. Corn, Soybean, Rice, Cottonseed, Canola, Peanut, Palmoil, etc, etc, etc. If there is any written information about this please refer, this will help all current and future lipid users.
I have a 1982 240d that vibrates when it idles. I am pretty sure that it is the engine mounts. I was wondering if there is a quick fix for this with out replacing them. If not, how much would it cost to get it fixed? Thanks.
I have an 1986 560 SL (107) and the speedometer stopped working. No one is really sure why. I've been told it may be the impulse transmitter. I don't want to lay out 450.00+ labor if that's not the problem. My question, could it be a fuse?
thanks
Mike
I have after a rain a large amount of water behind the passenger seat. There is a large rusted out area by the right side front jack point. Also the front passenger window sticks when going down and comes off the track. Are these all related? Do you think the water is coming in from the jack point, door, or some where else? None of the seals have been replaced and the car has 202,000.
Thank you.
I recently got A/C working on my '83 300DT, but it barely blows through the center vents. Can anyone PLEASE offer some suggestions about the possible problems/solutions?
Thank you!!!
I live in Guam where the ambient air temperature is never lower than 70 degrees. Usually, the lows are around 78, and the highs around 88 to 90.
I intend to convert my 1983 300SD, 126 chassis with 5 cyl turbo to burn WVO. Am I safe to not pre-heat the WVO? I'm thinking that since the outside air temperature never gets lower than 70 degrees, I shouldn't even concern myself with the flow of the fuel.
