84 300SD Battery Drain
Anyone know how to diagnose a battery drain in a 126- 1984 300SD? I just bought this car a few months back with a new battery. I guess I know why the guy who sold it to me put a new battery in right before he sold it......
The car starts when jumped. The battery is 3 months new. I tested it with a multimeter. After sitting for the night the battery is around 10. After its jumped the battery reads 13.5. The alternator is fine as far as I can tell. Never died on me while I was driving and the battery charges while the car is running.

'84 300SD driver's seat
I'm wondering if there's anyone out there that has had a seat motor go bad? I have replaced the seat switch on my driver's side to no avail and am wondering where to go next. I can hear the switch make a noise when I move it so I am assuming that is in working order. I have both of Kent's manuals (Chassis Door Maintenance and Repair & Front Seat Repair and Restoration) and neither speak directly to my situation. However, they do a wonderful job in describing how to remove the front seat, which I'm slightly afraid that's where I'm going to have to go to next!

Monark Nozzles for 87 300SDL
Hello,
Could someone tell me which of the Monark injector nozzles can be used on a 87 300SDL (603 engine)? I am going to be running some SVO and these look interesting but my model is not listed.
Other information leads me to believe either may work - any opinions?
Thanks
Richard

Locked Door Fix
I unscrewed the door lock button from a rear door and heard this terrible noise... the clinking of something falling down into the door. Now it seems obvious that the threaded rod that initiates the lock/unlock mechanism has fallen into the door. The problem is the door is locked and I am unsure as to how to get the door panel off to fix this. Can the lock be picked by a rookie or am I going to have to get a locksmith to open it? Why would it fall into the door unless it is not attached? Any ideas would be appreciated.
