240 warm up loss of power

My 1982 240 D will loose power shortly after warming up, particularly noticable when attempting to accelerate or go uphill. During these times I can manually downshift the automatic transmission and the engine speed does not respond. Once I crest the hill and reach 45 miles per hour there is a sudden surge in power. I have changed all filters, and two different diesel mechanics in our area cannot figure it out. The car is a wvo conversion, and the same phenomenon occurs wether on diesel or veg. On a cold morning or when the car is first started this does not occur. Any suggestions?

Sporadic oil pressure needle

!985 300CTD;150,000miles. During a 7 hr trip at highway speed the oil pressure indicator needle stays at a constant "3". When reducing speed & coming to a stop or idling the needle bounces (is not steady) at just under "2" & a "thumping/knocking" sound comes from the gauge area but is not heard when the engine rev's up. The engine runs quite well & pulls strong. The oil/filter was just changed & I have used synthetic diesel 15w-40 in the vehicle for the past two oil changes@5000 miles per.

83 300TDT non start

I was tyring to track a problem with slow engine shut-off and have solved the problem so completely that the engine is now totally stopped. While running my car with the shut off valve actuator disconnected from vacuum, a gauge on the line that supplies vacuum to that actuator and the ignition shut off to measure vacuum supplied to the actuator, the car slowly built to about -5lbs before the car rattled to a stop. The shut off valve actuator was disconnected from vacuum. The car will now crank but is not getting fuel (apparently). I have verified that there is no fuel at the return line when car cranks, no fuel moving in the prefilter. I have removed and checked the shut off actuator and shut off linkage. They are all moving freely and properly.

1984 300D 123 Rear Axle Flange Removal How?

I have a 1984 300D 123 chas that I was replacing the rear Axles on. I ran into a problem. I did a rush job while trying to take the right rear axle out. I took the tire off, then removed the 13mm long screw from the center of the hub, then I messed up when I tried knocking the Axle Shaft out with a crow bar. The curved crow bar banged into the grooves of the Axle Shaft Flange. So when i try to put the new axle on it wont go, because I destroyed the grooves.
