I have a 240D 1981 and the emergency brake does not engage when I press down the pedal. It seems as though the cable has too much slack in it to be able to push out the brake shoes.
I don't find any reference on the Mercedes Source website to converting a W210 chassis. I just bought a 99 E300TD with 132,000 miles and would like to convert it to WVO using the GreaseOn system.
I do not have a very extended circle of old MB friends. None that I have, however, has a cruise control that works. How problematic are they? I commute 75mi. round trip daily, at least one way with very little traffic. Would cruise improve my milage? I have mostly flat terrain on my route, nothing I down shift for. I would be interested in others experiences. Thanx, Larry
I visited some young hooligan friends in Portland over the weekend. Over the years they have been putting 240D flywheels from engines with manual trans. on 300 motors and converting them.
Hello. I'm trying to find a part number and/or supplier for a particular fuel hose on my 1972 220D. The hose runs from right near the primer pump up to the pre-filter (or in-line filter).
