W124, SVO/WVO parts

My 1987 300D engine revs up and down. The rpm goes to 300rpm and goes back to zero. it is worst when I put on reverse. it does the same when on drive mode or idle. Sometimes the stop lever on injector pump does not come back up. Anybody had this type of problem before?How do I diagnos it? Thanks, Alan

Hi, I'm new to the forum and have enjoyed reading the info posted. I have a 87 300TD with some shifting and acceleration issues. The transmission seems to upshift too rapidly during acceleration and as a result it enters 4th gear by the time I am at about 30 mph. The acceleration from 30 mph on up is very slow. Also, it does not do hills very well at all, even on a minor grade it will only do 45-50 mph and on steep grades it is even worse. Could the turbo be malfunctioning? Is there an easy test for turbo functionality? Could compression account for the problem? On flat roads the car cruises at 80 mph like a champ. Should I get the vacuum tested for the shifting issue?

Hello. I need the size and specs for the speakers on the 1987 300TD wagon please. There is a new radio but the speakers are worn out. It looks like the rears are 4 inch but I cannot get to the front. Also, how do I get to the front speakers. Thanks

began intermittently, tach would stop, antilock brake warning light would come on and engine would idle rough...now happening constant and also air conditioner compresser will not engage...when tach would begin working again all were fine???????????????
