1987 300e poor (No) acceleration
I got some problems with my 87 300e:
It starts good and has good throttle response in "Park". As soon as you put it in Drive there is no/very slow response and the car just does not accelerate from especially a stop.MAx speed varies from 25 -40 mph., RPM don't go over 2000.
Everyone is telling me that these engines will run 2-300.000 miles, but at this speed it might take me another 25 yrs.to get there....
