Order of repairs for 1976 300D
I have a 76 300D. I plan to adjust values, purge engine, replace fuel filters as well as fuel tank filter. In what order should this be done? I would also like to experiment with running bio-diesel. I have heard this cleans out old sludge in the fuel tank. Should I run a few gallons through before I change filters?

Faulty start - neutral saftey switch
Hi everyone, Please ignore the previous post, becuase I discovered that the car starts immediatly if the gear shift is in neutral rather than park. I believe this indicates a faulty neutral saftey switch. Is this the correct diagnosis? Thanks again! mARC

Timing 75 300 D

1975 300D Cam shaft removed, injection pump removed.
When cam shaft is re installed, Injection pump re-installed,
Cam shaft mark lined up with TDC on Crank Shaft Pulley.
Injection pump marks Lined for timing.
Question: Is there any other timing marks that needs to be in line????
I read somewhere the the Injection Pump (DRive Gear) should be lined up with some yellow Dot on gear, which I can not find any dot on drive gear for injection pump.
Sorry for the confusion in last question.
