I was wondering if someone who has a 200D or 220D Mercedes with A/C can send me photos of how the compressor mounts on the engine and how the belts run? I am looking to add A/C to my 1967 200D using a stock A/C compressor and parts from vintage air. The photos can be emailed to: oncken@earthlink.net Thanks for the help in advanced
I am a new owner of a 1967 200D and am looking for a good place to purchase new weather stripping for the entire vehicle, as well as a few electrical items. Anyone know a good company? Thanks for any help.
The Carbon monoxide was way too high, so I took it to an import specialist and he's saying that I need a new fuel injector pump. It's not the fuel pump, but the injector pump.
The mechanic said that these are not very adjustable and I need a new one - which he said costs around $1600. Yikes! Does anyone know any tricks to adjust these so I don't have to buy a new one? Or maybe the problem with the emissions is somewhere else?
