My 1976 300D w115 is missing a fuel primer pump. I think it came with one mounted to the fuel filter housing. Can I remove the plug on my fuel lift pump and install a new stye primer such as the monarch one you sell? Thanks, Chuck

Just purchased a 1979 300SD with a great engine and body, but a trashed interior. Windows are not moving, switches for windows have been removed and just dangling (someone was obviously trying to diagnose the problem).
I have ordered your interior manuals about dashboards, etc. However, where can I find good replacement parts. Suggestions for sites? Also, how about exterior parts (i.e. like trim, etc.). Any suggestions on where to find those types of parts.
Also, do you have any guidance on troubleshooting the 116 windows?

I unthinkingly started to unscrew the shifting linkage on top of the valve cover before removing the valve cover for adjustments. (1st time on OM617 engine) I quickly realized my folly but too late. All is back together but shifting is quite out of whack! How do you properly adjust that? I have tried to return it to where the "dirty" part of the linkage meets the connection. That made it work better, but initial startup from a stop is painfully SLOW! TIA for all your helpful responses!

I have the left motor mount on order with MB. My understanding is that the left motor mount is much different in shape and install.
The instuctions do not cover the install of this left mount. Do you have any additional tips, or suggestions for this mount install?

Engine idles with a miss that goes away at 1000 rpm. Pulls good from 1000rpm
Have replaced injectors, timing chain looks good. Pulling the fuel line from each injecter causes a diffinent miss. Fuel filters new. Ran good till 1 injecter frooze.
Found problem. I replced the rack adjustment bolt, reset according to the instructions you include with new bolt and vola, smoooth idle. Thanks again.

My car is full of hot air! Even when everything is shut off, the heat still comes through the vents. If I turn on the ac, it only blows warm. Oh, and of course this only happens on hot days. What is it and how do I fix this ?!!! Thanks.
