hotwiring necessary 1986 W123 turbodiesel

Hei!

I bought a parts car without any keys. Nice late turbo diesel with 200K miles that was stalled a year ago due to electrical problems.

The ignition lock is drilled out by me to be able to steer. I have been trying to hotwire the car to check the engine before putting it in my nicer 1984 NA 300D wagon.
So far it only growls one time(nicely though without hestitation) after glowing and starting. Then it only chuckles without firing.
I have been bleeding the diesel lines x times, maybe without luck.

What am I overlooking?
-Anything with the vacuum lines in the ignition lock? (I connected the two together)
-Or maybe more wires must be connected? (I took one of the two hot red ones, then the red w black stripe, then the purple starter wire)

1971, 280SE 3.5 Coupe, Interior Wood Trim Removal

How to remove the interior wood trim under the windshield (on the dash)?
1. Is it clipped? How do the clips look like?
2. Do I destroy them during removal and need new ones?
3. Are special tools needed? I have a set of plastic tools, which I used for removing the aluminum trim outside.
4. Is the method the same for all MB's between 1962 - 1972, which had these trims (108,109,110,111,112)?
Thanks

617 Turbo Diesel Injector Part Numbers/Interchangability

I have 5 each of these injectors:

KCA30S46

KCA30S35/4

KCA30SD27/4 (this one had a plastic cover with the number NA32X on it)

Are they interchangeable?

Will the same nozzles work in all?

The cars in question are a 82 300TD Turbo and a 84 300D Turbo. I want to rebuild the injectors and want to make sure these housings can work with the nozzles for the cars. Thank you

1986 420 SEL rough starting problem

Have an intermittent problem when starting this car. Car starts without problem 70% of the time. Instant ignition, idles perfectly, impossible to tell if engine is running. Other times the starter must be engaged for ten or more seconds before the engine even tries to start. Sometimes 3 or 4 attempts must be made before the engine fires. When it does finally start at these times, ignition is slow and it seems to be firing one or two cylinders at a time before it finally catches and idles properly. Problem arose immediately after having a new fuel distributor installed.

Rear window regulator

Trying to replace the regulator slide on a 83' 126. I have everything off and the regulator is unbolted and loose, but I can't seem to fiqure out how to disconnect the wireing. It seems to be hard wired into the regulator and unhooking the switch still leaves wires connected. Please help, before I start splicing.

Thanks again for the help!!!!
