This is a good, clean, and leak-free (not rusty) set of used OEM hydraulic rear struts for all 300TD wagons from 1979 to 1985. These are no longer available new.  They were removed from a working suspension wagon that had an excellent operating SLS system.

If your struts are leaking or not performing properly, this is what you are going to need to properly fix the problem. This hydraulic ram is not a shock absorber. It is a hydraulic leveling strut. If your struts are not leaking, but your wagon suspension is behaving erratically. The problem is probably not the struts. If you're experiencing a buckboard-type ride, then you need to replace the accumulators. If you have sagging and not leveling, then you probably need to rebuild the pump on the front of the engine, as well as the leveling valve underneath the back end. See related products below.

You can tell by looking under your wagon if the strut seals have failed. You will see wetness like this!
