Gas Engine Specific Aid

My 1977 280E seems to have a miss in it when it's hot. It's got new gas, new plugs and plug wires. Has Electronic Ignition. Fires up pretty easily but idles fast until it's put into gear, emmits a lot of smelly smoke (white/grey). Engine seems to stumble more when it's accelerated. Car sat for a 2 years before I got it. Could this be something with the vacuum system? Is there something that controls the idle speed as engine warms up and the engine timing that might have a leak or rotted off?

n/a I have a 1990 420 SEL with a gas v-8.The car stalled last night.Let it sit about 10 min and it started back up.Drove about 10 min and it died again.Wrecker brought to Mech shop.They went out this morning and it started up.They could not get it to stall.I picked it up and drove it about 10 min and it died.Anyone have any ideas what I should tell them

1988 560SL:my hazard flashers, brake lights & turn signals do not work.
I have checked where the harness plugs into the red flasher switch & is ok.
I recently had this same problem with my 1982 300D & it had come unplugged at the red switch, reconnected & worked ok. any suggestions where I look next.Thanks

I've got an 89 300 SE that is an absolute slug when it is cold, and won't start when it is hot. Fuel pressure is within spec,and the coolant sensor is within range. I'm thinking the fuel accumulator is bad.Any help would be appreciated.
