'84 300SD driver's seat
I'm wondering if there's anyone out there that has had a seat motor go bad? I have replaced the seat switch on my driver's side to no avail and am wondering where to go next. I can hear the switch make a noise when I move it so I am assuming that is in working order. I have both of Kent's manuals (Chassis Door Maintenance and Repair & Front Seat Repair and Restoration) and neither speak directly to my situation. However, they do a wonderful job in describing how to remove the front seat, which I'm slightly afraid that's where I'm going to have to go to next!

Monark Nozzles for 87 300SDL
Hello,
Could someone tell me which of the Monark injector nozzles can be used on a 87 300SDL (603 engine)? I am going to be running some SVO and these look interesting but my model is not listed.
Other information leads me to believe either may work - any opinions?
Thanks
Richard

Locked Door Fix
I unscrewed the door lock button from a rear door and heard this terrible noise... the clinking of something falling down into the door. Now it seems obvious that the threaded rod that initiates the lock/unlock mechanism has fallen into the door. The problem is the door is locked and I am unsure as to how to get the door panel off to fix this. Can the lock be picked by a rookie or am I going to have to get a locksmith to open it? Why would it fall into the door unless it is not attached? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Seat not moving & window motor whirring
Just started digging into my brand new 1984 300SD to fix a few essential items; I was told the driver's side seat worked, just needed a new switch. So I ordered a new (used) seat switch and hooked it up and still no action. Any advice on where to go next? Also was attempting to fix my driver's side window... which is turning out to be quite a challenge. The motor works, however, the big drive gear just spins on there.

Thanks and a suggestion
First off, i would like to offer my thanks and appreciation for your oasis in the desert of dealerships. You folks make the old adage," the only stupid question is the one you don't ask" a reality. You have to love these cars to do what we do and your commitment shines!
Now...suggestion..the special tool that you offer for the removal of the 103 water pump is a godsend. you might however offer the tool with this stipulation...PAY ME WHAT IT IS WORTH AFTER YOU USE IT..you might be amazed at the return on that concept!!!
Thanks again and continued success.

Multi accessory electrical short
i have a frustrating situation with my 89 300sel. my #15 fuse is blown, and it will immediately blow if replaced. My seat belt warning light constantly flashes, cabin light will not come on when doors are opened. they can be turned on manually, and my central locking system is inoperative. I realize that I most likely have a positve short to ground. Any ideas about a good place to start looking? Do these three symptoms point to anything specific? Any and all assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks
