Car wont start. New strainer, clean tank, new bosch primer pump and assembly, new plasic lines, new feul filters, new glow plugs and all are working, did diesel purge (2 cans). Car runs on diesel purge setup. I'm lost so I took car to foreign car mech (local benz expert) and he tried an electric pump and....ran for one day then died again. He's saying air is getting in lines...but we both have no idea...please help!!!
Kent, I have purchased the vacuum diagnostic manual but I am a bit confused because my model of car is not described in the manual. I am unclear as to which colored vacuum lines are what and the diagram listed in the member's section isn't high enough resolution for me to be able to clearly make out what is what. Help?

Has anyone got a easy way to change injector pump on 1984 300SD. The rack sensor is just above the back bolt and makes putting the nut bavk on interesting. The gasket started leaking because the support at the back of the pump was not bolted to engine.
Can the flex discs be replaced without removing the drive shaft? Do you sell the discs with instructions to fit this car?
I have a 1982 Mercedes 300SD and the trim around the windows looks faded and ugly. It is as if they look like "hard" water stains on all the chrome door and truck trim. I have tried "windex" type cleaner to Bar Keeper's Friend to no avail.
Any tips on cleaning? Do not want to have the replace the trim.
