Testing Diesel Fuel Injectors for Peak Performance

You will need a bench mount pressure release tester to do this yourself.

Testing mechanical diesel fuel injectors is not difficult if you have the right tools and knowledge. When you do it yourself you KNOW the job will get done right and you can save big $$$. Kent has seen so many injectors damaged by "professionals" he is convinced if you want your injectors to be set correctly and without damage then do it yourself. No one cares as much as you do. Most of the damage he has seen has been caused by over tightening the injector halves and by allowing dirt to get inside the nozzle during assembly and testing.

If you think your older diesel injectors do not need testing, cleaning or rebuilding because you engine is running "ok" think again. Kent recently acquired 55 used diesel injectors and decided to put them all to the test to see how many passed a pressure release and spray pattern test. Want to guess how many passed?

In order for owner's to do this themselves Kent knew he had to come up with an affordable pressure tester for the home mechanic. He set out 6 years ago to design the unit you see here. He is very proud of the fact it is less expensive than any tester you can get out of China and he assembles these units right here in our shop with local labor. He never thought he would end up selling thousands of these testers!

Along with this tester we off a manual that walks you through step-by-step instructions of removing the injectors, taking them apart, cleaning, installing new nozzles, adjusting pressure, putting them back together and installing them back in the car. We offer the very best mechanical diesel nozzle available in the world - made by Monark in Germany. Tools and shims to perform accurate adjustments and other parts and kits related to your fuel injection system.

New nozzles with properly balanced injectors can be one of the best things you can do for your engine to increase mileage and performance.
