PLEASE NOTE: The Tool was redesigned in December 2025. When replacing the front struts ( shock absorbers ) on a W201, W124, or some W129 chassis, it is frustrating and time-consuming to try to remove and replace the big 22 mm top nut on the front struts ( shocks ).

Socket is now black (impact grade). This is a tool that Kent first thought about making 20 years ago. While installing shock absorbers in his 380SL he had finally had enough - so it was back to the machine shop to come up with a new tool.
