This is a special pre-chamber collar nut removal socket ONLY that works on the diesel engines in the 1990 to 1991 350SD 350SDL (126 chassis), 1990 to 1993 300D 2.5 (124 chassis), and 1992 to 1995 300SD / S350 (140 chassis).
This is Kents new favorite ratchet wrench for turning engines over during service and repair. There are a number of maintenance procedures that require you rotate the engine over by hand.

Removing the front rubber engine mounts requires getting under the car and going up inside a hole in the subframe to remove the main bolt. And it can be a bear! I don't know who they hired to tighten these at the factory but he must have been a brute.
When using a pencil glow plug reamer, this modified 12 mm wrench will allow you to PUSH in on the reamer while turning - and let me tell you - this is needed when you have heavy carbon buildup in the prechambers.
These washers are installed right under the four nuts that hold the valve cover securely to the cylinder head. They help to prevent the over tightening of the valve cover as well as prevent the nut from loosening up. They also keep the nut from gouging the metal out of the valve cover.
