delayed tranny shifting fro 2-3 on 123 1981 300D
I recently purchased 1981 mercedes 300D. I am having trouble with tranny shifting from 2nd-3rd gear. It seems to have a significant delay. The rest of the other gears shift as they should. I would appreciate help with this problem. My other 123 TD 1984 has the same trouble with the same gears except the delay is about half of the 300D.

92 300CE Transmission Reverse Problem
When shifting into reverse there is a long delay before it engages and when it does it makes a loud studdering sound. Is a new trans needed or can it be fixed?

97 E320 gas 104 has rhythmic vibration
I get a mild rhythmic vibration felt mostly in the steering wheel starting around 40 mph and up. I am thinking its coming from the driveshift maybe it has a little up and down play in the hanger bearing does this make sense? or should I be looking some where else.

92' 300d lost 1st gear.
92' 300d with 2.5 L turbo. Has 230,000 miles and used to have first gear but now starts in second gear. I'm curious if this might be a common problem or a simple fix. Automatic transmission fluid level is correct according to owners manual. Thanks for your help and amazing website.

1982 300sd cv boots
Are the Astoria Flexx cv boots useable in Mercedes ?
They claim that the rubber ( silicone ) is better than OEM.
Does anyone have experience with these?
Thanks
