Loose and Rattling Exhaust System
Brake lights out on 1991 560SEL
When I turn the light switch to the right to either park or full head lamps, the exterior lamp out warning lights. Also, the brake lights fail to come on when pressing the brake pedal. I replaced all three brake lamps with new lamps with no success. Might this be a brake switch problem? If so, how do I test it?

'85 190E: No auto-stop for window motor
Driver's window works fine except that when reaching the closed position the motor keeps going until you let off the switch. Do I need a new window regulator or some other part? I've already purchased the 201 Door Maintenance and Repair guide, but don't see mention of this issue. Thanks for any assistance you can provide...

86 300SDL Turbo sunroof weatherstrip?
I R&R'd a new sunroof (Tilting)Weatherstrip.
Pretty much straight forward.......except
1: Found 2 rivets loose on back hold down bracket.
short of removing panels(trying to avoid)
any tricks to fixing? I tried a pair of needle nose vice grips, no go
2:The new strip prevents the roof from closing like the old one!
Should I "grease" it with something? If so what?

84 300 vibration at 1500 or so
It all started after I had run the car up a mountain with curvy roads. I pushed the car a bit (not to hard)after that it started idling rough. Thought it might be injectors leaking. I changed and set injectors. It ran better. Now it has a rough idle and a strong vibration at around 1500 rpm feels like it vibrates the whole car. Also it seems to be have more valve noise when idling, maybe nailing? adjusted valves 2 times.

Instrument Panel problems
removed functioning instrument cluster in 85 300SD to replace ignition,
when instrument cluster was replaced the temperature gauge doesn't register accurate - it jumps immediately to maximum heat. Also suspicious that fuel
gauge is registering incorrectly. Any suggestions?

190E 2.3 ecu temp sensor
I am having trouble with cold running and now with running period. Starts fine and stumbles until warm. Changed ovp with new one-better but not much, changed O2 sensor with NGK model-initially better but now appears lean when running above 1500rpm-stumbling. O2 appears to be working. Don't have duty function meter. Stumped. Coding but do not have code reader. Going to get one. Ecu temp sensor resistance supposed to be 250 hot to 2000 cold but that does not jive with charts I have seen. 260 to 300 hot. Very inconsistent cold.

1984 300D Turbo engine shutoff
I replaced the engine shut off vacuum actuator, the car drove for 15 minutes and stalled. I am not getting fuel to the injectors. The question is can the actuator gaskets leak air into the pump and air lock it?
