1983 300DT 123--New Compressor/Fuses ok/Air won't work
We have replaced the compressor, dryer, and the fuses are ok. The Air Conditioner will not work. What should we check next? Someone suggested Climate Control. Where is it located?

Greetings, all.
I've got all the parts I need to replace the fuel injector return lines on my 617 engine, but I'm not sure what tools I should have and what procedures I need to follow. Most that I've read says I only need a pair of needle nose pliers, but this seems too simple to me. Is it really just a matter of pulling the old guys out and pushing the new ones in?
Thanks!
Collin
Heater blower has failed. Replaced fuse which promptly blew. Will shortly pull blower. What should I look for and are
brushes still available for this unit. Niemoller in Germany can't find bushes and new blower 330.00+.
Last year I purchased shift boot form Mercedessource and accidentally misplaced it, it was a perfect replacement for
4 speed manual transmission in vehicle. I suspect I will be unable to locate a replacement but thought I might nevertheless inquire.
You provide a tremendous service and have a terrific website.
Thank you Mr Bergsma
My '87 300SDL shifts very hard between 1st and 2nd. Since replacing the vacuum modulator, the rest of the gears are fine. However, a few days ago after the car sits for a few hours it does not like to shift out of 2nd. After driving at a maximum of ~45 MPH, if I come to a stop and start over it upshifts to 3rd and 4th fairly smooth. Is there an easy fix, or am I looking at rebuilding the transmission?
1985 - 500 SEL When starting the engine from cold, the coolant temperature slowly rises until it is up in the red zone, above the 120C marked on the gage. The temperature stays there for several minutes, then drops down to 80C where it will stay. The coolant level is correct and the thermostat has recently been replaced. Is the new thermostat sticking or is this normal behavior? It worries me to see the temperature gage that high.
I installed Kent's Electric Fuel Boost Pump kit 3 years ago and it has been working great until recently. It's clicking away really fast. I pulled the bleed plug out of my filter and the pump is barely pumping the fuel/veggie oil. I disconnected the fuel line right before the lift pump and very little WVO is coming out of the fuel line. Did same thing right before I.P. and again the fuel is barely coming out of the fuel line. Yet the EFBP is pumping like crazy. Does the EFBP just need to be cleaned? Can I take the EFBP apart to clean it out or is it just worn out and time to replace it?
