The reason it has taken so long for us to come up with LED dash lights for the W124 is due to the fact that they had to be the EXACT size as the original bulb and still be bright enough. Anything even slightly larger would not fit in the hole without interfering with the transparent plastic light bar. They also had to be wired correctly to not short out in the Mercedes bulb holders. Well, Kent finally found the correct bulb but it was not wired for Mercedes. So we have to spend time in the shop rewiring each bulb separately and testing it for proper operation.

The pictures below will show you the brightness of the bulbs and how they look in dim light. When it gets totally dark, of course the cluster will be brighter. These bulbs are NOT polarity sensitive, meaning you can plug them either way into your bulb holders on the back side of the cluster. In most cases, the cluster will need to be removed from the dash to install these. (Note: on some models you can partially pull out the cluster, tip it forward and twist and pull out the holder - but you have to know what you are doing and have small hands.
We also offer the bulbs in an amber color. Here you can see them compared. The three bults below right to left are the stock incandescent, amber and bright white.
Below you will see the cluster lit up first with orignal bulbs, then amber LED (middle image), then finally brightr white LED.
Check the temperature difference after on 20-minutes! Incandescent bulbs reach over 100 degrees F while the LED stays in the lower 70 degrees. And this is out in the open. Inside the dash the original bulbs with get even hotter.
