79 240d slow cold oil pressure

I've asked this before, so I guess this is an update. My 79 240d takes forever (5 to 10 seconds) to show oil pressure. Kent asked if I'd changed the tube o'rings in the oil cannister.I did, but thought maybe I should pull it out and double check and make sure they were good.
The o'rings were fine, but there was no oil in the cannister.Shouldn't there be oil in the cannister after the car sits for awhile?

What holds the oil in the cannister!?
Anyone know?

'79 wagon lower trim fix

yesterday the lower trim (rubber 'n chrome) strip fell off my driver's side door. the front end of the trim piece seems to have a little clip that is rusty but intact, but the rear end of the trim piece just has a rusty hole on its back side. i popped the little cover off the rear bottom of the passenger side door to see what it *should* look like and there is a little nut that seems to connect to a small threaded pin that is attached to the trim piece. obviously, that threaded pin has rusted away from my passenger-side trim piece. do you sell a replacement part for this, or do i need to A) buy a new (or used) whole piece of trim or B) jerry-rig something?

81 300d 123 Will not start

I have an 81 300d that I was running on BIO. It was loosing power and stall under a load. SO I removed the injectors cleaned replaced nozzles with monarks, bench tested and re-installed. Car ran then stalled and will not start. I drained the tank and filled it up with diesel. I replaced the fuel lines, filters and lift pump. Also replaced the glow plugs with monarks. Then did a valve adjustment. Changed the o rings on the injector pump, checked ALL banjo fittings and lines, replaced copper washers.

83 300-D Underdash Vacuum Line Connection??

I have an 83 300d. I removed the panel below the steering wheel and found a vacuum line simply resting against the back of my brake pedal. I raced the line and it runs through the firewall into the engine compartment. It is connected to the "T" that is on the bottom of the transmission modulator on the rear of the fuel pump. The other side of the "T" runs to the lower right side of the 5 way connector located on the valve cover. That is if it is viewed from the front. Does anyone know where this vacuum line is supposed to go.
