Restoring a 1950's and 1960's Era Mercedes that has been stored

You will need a bench mount pressure release tester to do this yourself.

Sometimes it can be near impossible to get the bolts out and the parts separated

Different from the 116 / 123 chassis and more difficult to troubleshoot

Body and Exterior Trim

The panel must be removed to properly repair and/or lubricate the tilting arm mechanism.

Improper technique can break the mirror glass or permanently damage the ball socket
