PLEASE do not order in error! Check your engine first with the cover off. It should look exactly like the one you see in the picture below. LH-Jetronic fuel injection is electronic, so it does not require a fuel accumulator at the car's back end.
This tester is a "must have" if you want to work on and troubleshoot the fuel injection system on your 30-year older gas fuel injected Mercedes engine. Let's face it. Thirty years is old, but 55 years is ancient. You can not fix the system if you don't know what it is doing!
Many tool sets do not even have a 16mm or 18mm combination wrench, let alone ones that have a ratcheting box end. Mercedes never used 16mm or 18mm fasteners up until the late 1990's. Now they are everywhere - especially under the car.

The front and rear seals are the same, but the procedure to remove and replace the sunroof panel differs from the power sunroofs. So, in this kit, we have included Kent's instructions specifically for the manual sunroof and have added a couple of other videos that you will find helpful.

In this 11-minute instructional video, Kent will take all the parts included in his fuel system pressure tester builder's kit and show you how to put it all together using the tool and fittings supplied in the kit. This easy DIY job can be done in approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
In the 14-minute video, Kent will show and explain his new version 3 fuel system pressure tester released in January 2025, and will demonstrate briefly how it is hooked up to the D-Jetronic, K-Jetronic, and KE-Jetronic fuel injection systems.
This fitting is not included in our deluxe pressure tester or the builder's kit. If you plan on pressure testing your 1976 to 1985 M110 fuel system, this fitting is highly recommended.

Genuine Mercedes new part a shown, but does have some shelf wear. This has been sitting in a dark and dry garage for about 20 years. It was mounted on an engine out of the car but not run. But it was put together with the housing and then taken apart.
When removing the upper radiator hose for engine service, such as replacing the electronic thermostat or the seal on the back side of the oil cooler, you will have to remove the upper radiator hose.

This socket will help to prevent damage to your chrome 6-poing wheel bolts as shown.
We have only seen one of these, and it came off a 150,000 mile 1977 240D. I am sure it would fit the 1978 and 1979 240D, but it would not be original. Study the pictures carefully. Note the different cap designs with long center bolt. BUPS
Search the internet for steering wheel repair kits to fill these cracks. You can pay more and get a better one, but these wheels are getting harder to find as time passes.

Almost all of these seals are now severly compressor or rotten. Do not allow water to get down into the blower motor cavity. This is a very common source of hidden rust the the R107's. Other parts related to this seal are listed below.
Sometimes, it can be very frustrating to "bang in" those chrome moldings below the door on an old R-107. The clips enlarge or they are too deep in the rocker panel. We have found that these white plugs work better than the standard red plugs used on other models of that error.

I have heard so many stories of owners throwing parts at leaks in their airmatic suspension only to discover it does not fix the problem that I decided to develop this pressure tester. My motto is to test first - then buy parts.
Old plastic often just breaks. If you find one or more broken on your rocker trim, it is best to replace all of them. This kit is for one side ( usually requiring 7 or 8 clips). Order 2 at checkout for a full set right and left. Rocker molding insertion clips are available separately.
