123 Chassis Low Ration Rear End - 2.88 to 1 - Excellent Condition

Fits all 123 chassis 1977 to 1985 - Best of the rear ends removed from a 1985 300TD

If you want the best fuel economy in your 123 then this is the rear end to have. Only produced in 1985. The turbo diesel rearend ration up through 1984 was 3.07 to 1. This is a considerable reduction that drops your engine speed down at freeway speeds.

Early Steering Box Adjusting Stud Replacement Locknut

This is not a normal nut. On the face it has a special hard plastic nylon seal. When this seal deteriorates you may see evidence of power steering fluid seeping out of the bottom the the adjustment locknut (located on the top of the steering box).

123 Chassis Differential Rear Axle Seal

1981 to 1985 300D 300CD 300TD, and SOME 240D models (Vin Split FROM 163339) WITH U.S. MODEL CAN STYLE AXLES ONLY

We recommend you always replace this seal when removing and replacing your rear axles. You will need two of these if you are working on both axles. Seal fits on either side of the rear differential that uses can style rear axles. These are the correct seals to order with our new axle assemblies.

These are the bolts that mount the forward arms of the rear end subframe to the bolt. They often get rusted in plate and must be cut or destroyed to remove. Here is my last set of real nice used ones. PLEASE NOTE: May or may not come with lock washers...
