124 1994 E320 Weather stripping KRYTOX GPL205 or 105??
Has anyone used Krytox to preserve and protect the weather stripping around doors and windows? I bought the thicker GPL205 and now think I should have ordered the thinner 105 for this application.
any thoughts?? Thanks

Help solve this mystery: how did my transmission problems go away?
The transmission in my 1987 300TDT diesel wagon (W124) has always shifted a bit harshly, especially going from second to third gear, and from park to drive. After I installed new Monark injector nozzles, Beru glow plugs and cleaned out the oily gunk from the intake manifold, the transmission now shifts smoothly. It's like I installed a new transmission, but I didn't.
So which of these procedures (inadvertently) solved my clunky transmission? I'm sure it wasn't new glow plugs!

1990 300D Air blowing out of rim of injection port???
I noticed, recently, that there was what sounded like an exhaust leak in the engine compartment of my 1990 300D 2.5 turbo. In checking further, I found that the noise was on the intake side of the engine not the exhaust side. Checking further, I found that puffs of air(?) were coming out of a small half-moon shaped hole on the rim of the injection port of the last fuel injector (closest to the firewall). I bought your injector rebuild/test kit (monarch nozzles) and rebuilt all of the injectors and reinstalled them.

1987 300TDT wagon rear squeak
I just bought a 1987 300TDT wagon. 207k Rear suspension makes a sqeaking sound when I push down on the rear bumper. No leaks on the ground from the hydrolic suspension. Some oil weaping on the rear shocks. Any ideas? lube something?
Also, does this 6 diesel need a valve adjustment like the 123?

124 Wagon - Removing the self leveling system
I own W124 230TE but the sls is not working for the last 6 month or maybe more, i try sending it to the workshop but end paying more $$$ but still no success, end up the system getting worst, i check & found the actcuator & the adjusting valve broken & missing. Now it just on the coil spring, with 2 adult seating at the rear the whole back sink down, the problem here is very difficult to get the part localy (Singapore)& costly to import the part.
