clunk clunk when tranny downshifts when not under load
I have an 81 300sd with 334,000 on it. Have changed the flex plates and recently had the driver's side rear wheel bearing looked at because i was experiencing a clunk when i put the car in reverse. The mechanic said the bearing was going, but tightened it up and now the clunk is better ( a temp. fix... part is on the way...) but i have been noticing a 2 stage clunk when i accelerate after the car warms up. if i depress the accelerator quickly and let up quickly it clunks on the depression and release, also when the tranny downshifts when there is no load on the drive line, like when i am coming to a stop going up hill. any clues?

1984 300SD sun roof motor
Does anyone know how to remove the sun roof motor from the trunk? The sun roof was working slow so I tried to remove the motor and ended up taking the bottom of the motor apart which dislodged the motor brushes.

Shock replacement (Car now sits unevenly)
I have replaced both the front and rear shocks on my 1982 300SD with the bilstein comfort line. Now the front rides considerably higher than the rear. Have I overlooked something simple?

81 300SD rear end rattle
My 300sd has a rattle coming from the rear of the car when you hit a bump.I realize it could be a few different things but what would be the most likely? The sway bar links aren`t broken but one of them looks to be slightly damaged. Thank`s Rick

WVO-Which types are best?...
In my limited experience with WVO I have encountered several kinds and types out there, It seems that it is universal knowledge to stick with what originally was 100% pure oil of some kind and to stay away from the hydrogenated stuff. My question goes further... I like to know what are the better WVOs? and what kind of WVOs to avoid?. Maybe on a "TOP 10" format. Corn, Soybean, Rice, Cottonseed, Canola, Peanut, Palmoil, etc, etc, etc. If there is any written information about this please refer, this will help all current and future lipid users.

Warm weather WVO
I live in Guam where the ambient air temperature is never lower than 70 degrees. Usually, the lows are around 78, and the highs around 88 to 90.
I intend to convert my 1983 300SD, 126 chassis with 5 cyl turbo to burn WVO. Am I safe to not pre-heat the WVO? I'm thinking that since the outside air temperature never gets lower than 70 degrees, I shouldn't even concern myself with the flow of the fuel.
