When using a pencil glow plug reamer, this modified 12 mm wrench will allow you to PUSH in on the reamer while turning - and let me tell you - this is needed when you have heavy carbon buildup in the prechambers.

These engines are know to seize glow plugs in the head. Always use correct anti-seize compound on the threads only when installing.

This is something many owner's and mechanics miss. That little check valve on the side of the injection pump can cause a lot of starting problems on the older diesels.

For all 111, 112, 108, 109, 114, 115, 107, 116, 123, 126 and 201 chassis (Non tilting roofs up through 1986). Do you have a power sunroof that is working poorly or maybe not at all? Does it move slowly or not at all in the morning, but when it heats up during the day it works just fine?
Glow plugs do not last forever. I have found they generally need to be replaced about every 2 years for peak performance.
