If you have an early 300SD and your vacuum pump fails, you could find yourself “up the creek without a paddle.” The actual mechanism of the pump is very robust and it hardly ever fails, but not so with the rubber diaphragms inside the pump.
We supply a number of extras in this kit including some special rubber and plastic hose that you will not find with other vacuum hand pump testers.

This kit is intended to fix SLOW LEAKS in your older door lock actuators. It is NOT intended to repair leaks caused by cracks or tears in the rubber diaphragms!! Please CAREFULLY INSPECT ALL of the rubber on your leaking unit before ordering this kit.
If your early door lock actuators do not have any cracks in the rubber diaphragms, but they just won't hold vacuum - it may be possible to fix them by taking them apart and cleaning and resealing the outer lip of each diaphragm.
Old age hardened vacuum lines and hoses can sometimes be a real pain to remove. Then tend to just get "stuck" in place. Rough attempts to disconnect them can cause damage. If you are not careful you can crack the rubber hoses or break the plastic lines when moving or pulling on them.
Only one set like this availabe. Comes with used seals for the inside check valves. The seals are still soft. In 9 out of 10 cases if your later model vacuum pump with the single line is not working or producing very low vacuum is will either be one or more bad checkvalves or hardened seals.
This is the same guage that we include in two other kits. See related products below. We realize some may just want a simple vacuum gauge to have in their tool box for troubleshooting purposes. A gauge like this is a "must have" if you are having vacuum related problems on your older Mercedes.
ONE ONLY AVAILABLE This is a good used and tested vacuum door lock actuator that fits all W116 AND W123 chassis of the years listed only. This is the early style. You have one of these in each of the right side front and rear door and left side rear door.
Here is a great way to save some money repairing your old Mercedes vacuum door lock actuators. When they go bad it is almost always due to cracks in the rubber diaphragms. These can be easily replaced once you remove your door panels and remove the units.
If you need more than one just change the quantity in your shopping cart. If you would like to order the kit look below.
