1978 to 1985 Pencil Glow Plug Replacement Instructions - On Demand Video

For 1978 to 1985 300SD and 1980 to 1985 240D, 300D, 300CD and 300TD

Pencil (parallel style) glow plugs usually fail slowly over time. The first signs are rough running after startup. Then you may see a flashing glow plug light on your dash. If ignored over time you engine may not start at all.

1977 to 1985 Diesel Special 24 mm Oil Filter Housing Fitting Wrench

A Must Have Tool when dealing with stubborn oil cooler hoses

This standard 24 mm combination wrench is specially ground in our shop so that it will hold the fitting on the late 616 and 617 oil filter housing when loosening the oil cooler hose end nut. Without this wrench the fitting may start to turn with the hose nut and you will never get it off.

This is a good used alternator adjusting mechanism and mounting bracket. No cracks in plate and bolt in good condition. Good adjuster with threads. No instructions. Kent has ground a slight modification in the plate to make it easier to mount and start the adjustment nut.
